Carolina Sailing Club is hosting the Championship Series November 10th & 11th at Lake Jordan, Vista Point boat ramp. No invitation necessary just show up! If you have never sailed here, let me tell you it is a treat! Nice public ramp and specified dinghy launch. I have sailed here many times have never been skunked. Camping is available through the area State Campgrounds Poplar Point, and Vista Point.
Carolina Sailing Club has also posted their winter series dates, they are as follows:
December 2nd, & 16th
January 6th and 20th
February 3rd and 17th
March 9th.
There may be a small fee involved for the winter series, but what the heck, nice winter sailing, with a motivated group of folks that like to make Chilli after an afternoon of frostbiting! For more info talk or email with Kevin Sheehan 919-345-0540, kevin@hatteras.com . They are eager to sail.
If you have not visited the new RTP Laser site, check it out. It shows who from their list of league members is going to be sailing at CSC scheduled events. Pretty neat if you ask me!
