Our D12 sailors can be found at various points to the south. John Potter and Butch Mumma participated in the Caribbean Laser Midwinters in The Dominican Republic. Check out these amazing pictures.
Krysta Rohde battled the rockstars at The Miami OCR. Check out these pictures. Hear she is also sailing in the upcoming NA Womens Radial Championship in Fort Lauderdale coming up shortly.
Expect to see a bunch of D12 Masters at the Masters Midwinters in Clearwater and already see a couple of our D12 juniors signed up for the Midwinters East in that same location. Both of these events usually put about 100 boats on the starting line.

This balmy January weather has certainly made it easier for frostbiting - with no frost.
From Lake Lanier David Jackson reports: We began our Frostbite series at LLSC a week ago. We got in 3 races each week with very little wind (sadly), but it was warm - 65F Jan 7, 70F yesterday. Week one we had 29 boats. Week 2 we had 38 boats. Hoping for wind this week.
At Wrightsville Beach this weekend 9-10 boats ran starting drills and raced in a warm southeast breeze.

2007 got off to a bang in Wrightsville Beach yesterday. Nine sailors braved 20-30+ knots of wind - lots of capsizes and several breakdowns. Check out the videos : Martin and and Glenn drag racing, Start -only 4 made the last race.
Two of our juniors, Krysta Rohde and Emilie Mademan, were at the Orange Bowl Youth Regatta in Miami last week fighting it out with over 100 other radial sailors. All in all 600 kids sailed at this event. If you are a junior , this is a must attend regatta. Check out this website for results.
