Laser District 12

Beaufort Yacht & Sailing Club is making preparations for hosting our Fifth and Final D12 Championship Series event. Scheduled for October 21 and 22 , this event will also host our annual meeting with a “special awards ceremony”. More details to come. Click here for Beaufort NOR.

In the meantime make plans for Chesapeake Bay Laser Masters Championships September 9,10 at Fishing Bay. See August 17 post for that NOR.

Congratulations to D12 Sailor Emilie Mademann who picked up a 7th place out of 24 competitors in the Radial Womens Silver fleet at Cork last week.

Another good laser turnout at Spar Wars this past weekend. 17 Boats. Go to results here.

The weekend prior at Wrightsville included a well attended Laser 4.7 clinic the Friday before the regatta.

Thanks to Vanguard for loaning the rigs and providing lots of giveaways for the kids.

Also not too early to start making plans for our 5th and final Championship Series Regatta in Beaufort , SC October 21 and 22. NOR coming soon. At that event will hold our annual meeting with special awards presentation.
